Core Priorities 

A1: To sustain phonic outcomes at year 1 and improve the outcomes by the end of year 2.

A2: To raise the percentage of children reaching the expected standard + in reading

A3: To raise the percentage of children reaching EXP and GD in maths to be in line with national. To raise the percentage of children reaching national average at the end of the year 4 for the multiplication times table check.

A4: To provide a structured, consistent approach to the teaching of (phonics) and spelling to raise  spelling ability across the school.

A5: To continue to decrease the percentage of persistent absenteeism to be in line with national figures.

A6: To ensure the foundations are secured for number and phonics. Further develop adult interactions with children.

 

School Development Plan

School development is an ongoing process at Linton Mead. We are frequently addressing changes in our situation, challenges and keeping up to date with the changing face of education and understanding of child development. We create and regularly review our School Development Plan in consultation with our team, advisors and governing body.
